Rethinking Resilience At School
What If One Presentation Could Leave Your School With Healthier, Happier, and More Resilient Students?

Here's The Problem...
You know that bringing outside support to your school is necessary to have healthy, happy, thriving students. However, you, your students, and your staff are tired of hearing about the same old wellness resources and witnessing little to no changes from them.
Imagine hiring a company that understands the importance of wellness education at school and provides resources students can use at home too, leaving less work for you and your staff and more time to create healthier, happier, connected learning environments.
At Rethinking Resilience, we believe wellness education is necessary for achieving academic success. It's our goal to see a world where students and teachers are no longer struggling to choose between focusing on their mental well-being and their grades or careers.

Instead, wellness education and resources are embedded in daily learning, positively changing how students and teachers respond to challenges at school and providing the fundamental tools they need to succeed in all areas of life.

When we educate, empower, and share resources for resilience students and teachers can use both inside and outside of the classroom, the result can shift from staff burnout and sick days, from students struggling academically and conflicts within classrooms to happier, healthier, and more connected students, teachers and schools.

Rethinking Resilience at School is an hour-long interactive presentation that educates, empowers, and creates a connection with students giving them evidence that they can create a great future for themselves no matter what has happened in their past or what is happening in their present-day circumstances.

Every presentation includes time for questions and answers as well as the opportunity for teachers to email class or anonymous questions to Alison and Danielle and receive video responses up to a week after the presentation. Students and teachers also receive an interactive E-book where they can find tools from the presentation, bonus resources, prompts, and resiliency tools they can access no matter where they are and how much time has passed since the presentation.

Here's What A Laurier University Student had to say...
"I wish I had this information starting high school but I'm glad I've learned it now. This is information everyone should know and can really help during challenging times."

What Makes Us Different
We value information and know it is a necessary part of learning; however, we also believe true transformation happens through storytelling and relatability. We facilitate our presentations so students can easily use what they learn and move from where they are now to where they want to be. We provide practical and effective tools students can walk away with and use in real time. We are not just another presentation telling students to "take a breather." Instead, we actually teach the "how" and why it's essential.

Real Stories
When we share our stories, others feel less alone. We provide real examples students can relate to that remind them they are not alone in their challenges and tangible ways to increase their overall mental, social, emotional, and wellness. They will also leave with the empowering reminder that no matter what they are going through or have been through, they have the power to create a great future for themselves.

Education To Last A Lifetime
It's no secret that students are stressed. Our presentations and programs focus on the whole self, not just the mind and mental health. We go above and beyond and provide tangible how-to steps to ensure students have the life skills needed to support them for years to come. Students walk away with healthier ways to manage stress and their emotions, as well as ways to increase their self-confidence and overall well-being in the process.

Real Results
When challenges arrive in life, it's often easy to lose sight of who we are. We share real and fundamental ways students can resiliently find self-compassion and trust in themselves during those challenging times. As a result, students often leave our presentations and workshops with an empowering outlook on life moving forward and an increase in self-esteem in the process.
Here's What A YCDSB Teacher had to say...
"It's exactly what students need to hear. Life is not going to be adversity-free. It's important to build the skills needed to face those challenges."

You Have Questions... We Have Answers!
-
What makes your programs so unique from what’s already out there? It’s no secret that things have changed after the pandemic. We believe everyone deserves to have access to tangible resources to support their mental, emotional, and physical well-being and Rethinking Resilience has been a leader in meeting those needs. We bring our educational backgrounds as well as our life and work experience to bring a refreshing take on wellness and resiliency resources. You can learn more about us here.
-
What's the difference between your school presentation and the workbook? Our work within schools is an opportunity for us to share our inspirational stories, valuable resources, answer questions, and connect directly with students and teachers both while we are there and for a limited time after. Although you will see us and hear us in the workbook videos and audios, the workbook doesn't provide any opportunity for direct connection with us. It is made for self-paced learning.
-
How long will it take me to see changes? We explain everything in an easy to understand and easy to use way so you can apply what you learn to your life right away. It's not uncommon for our students to notice a positive shift right after the first or second lesson.
-
Can I go through the workbook more than once? You can go through the workbook as many times as you'd like and we suggest doing so. You'll have lifetime access and you'll also have access to all added bonus' and updated versions of the workbook.
